Below are some of my interests, hobbies, and whatever else I could think of to include. If you have any recommendations of things I should check please let me know!

Music

I'm a big music fan and have always enjoyed going to concerts, exploring new artists, building my record collection, and checking out my favorite record stores in Ann Arbor, MI! Some of my favorites artists (in no particular order) include:

Movies and TV

I'm a bit of a night owl and enjoy using the time after my wife and kids go to sleep to work on building data skills or working on projects BUT I also use that time to binge my favorite shows or watch a movie. It's my favorite way to relax at the end of the day, and also the perfect excuse to sneak my late night snacks! Some of my favorites are:

Sports

My favorite sport is easily soccer! I grew up playing, starting in AYSO, playing club/travel, high school, and now the occasional men's league. Admittedly I was never really that great of a player, but I loved it anyways. My favorite team is Chelsea FC, I think I could count on one hand the number of games I've missed in the last 15 years. I've travelled within the US to see preseason tour games and am looking forward to the day I can finally visit London and see a game at Stamford Bridge!

I'm also a huge fan of University of Michigan sports! I've been a Michigan football fan for as long as I can remember and spend every Saturday in the fall either watching the games on TV or going to The Big House. My Dad has always been a big Michigan football fan and I've definitely followed in his footsteps.

Travel

Travelling has been a huge part of my life and I've had the privilege to see some amazing places, often with my wife and favorite travel partner (although not so much since we've had kids). My absolute favorite trip has been a volunteer trip to Cape Town, South Africa! We spent 3 weeks in Cape Town where we split our time between volunteering as teachers at a primary school and exploring the city/county with our roommates from the volunteer house. Cape Town is beautiful but the timing and people we were with is what made the trip so special.

Some of my other notable travels include a study abroad experience in Germany, Iceland, Ireland, Poland, Italy, Austria, and a honeymoon in St. Lucia! I'm really hoping to add to the list in the future.
